Press Release-Thomas Cardinali interviews Marchetti Tech’s Chief Innovation Officer Arianna Marchetti

Marchetti Tech paints increasingly requested by various industrial sectors.

TC: Arianna Marchetti, what are the results of the last six months?

AM: In terms of sales we have had a growth of 15% compared to 2020, considering that 2020, despite the COVID crisis, was a growth of 20% for us. Sales are not our focus, we are oriented towards presenting our technologies to all those companies that have been using the same paints for many years now, obtaining the same results.

TC: Arianna Marchetti can you tell us in which sectors you are achieving the best results?

AM: Great interest in our paints comes from many industrial sectors, from manufacturers of machinery ranging from pumps, to generators for electricity, pipe manufacturers, machinery for the stone, ceramic, glass industry. There are also many requests by fashion industry, in particular by the furniture industry, eyewear, accessories.

TC: Is fashion also looking for your paints?

AM: Yes of course, in particular many architects are contacting us to understand all the possibilities that our paints, in particular the Graphene one, can offer, to create particular surfaces, which can not only be durable, but at the same time also beautiful with characteristics unique for the sector.

TC: How do you manage to make these particular paints, other manufacturers don't have the same products?

AM: The difference between us and the world paint producers is very simple, we are structured to listen to customers and create paints that can open a sea of opportunities to our customers, to give them security when they have to defend themselves from corrosion, when they have to sanitize surfaces, when they have to create surfaces of particular beauty, while most paint manufacturers have a serial product made for large quantities.

TC: Arianna we are happy to have a company like yours in Italy. There are rumors that you are under acquisition by other companies and investment funds, can you tell us if this is true?

AM: We are honored by the attention that many companies in our industry are showing towards us. Even for some investment funds that have contacted us, the company remains in Italy and, in this moment, we have not taken any type of action into consideration. We continue with our investment program for research and development of other products and we are expanding our commercial network with strategic alliances around the world.

TC: Could you tell us something about your Grafy mascot?

AM: Yes, gladly. We have chosen Grafy to give life and word to Graphene. Many people read and inquire about what Graphene can do, the material of wonders. Unfortunately, in part Graphene is still in laboratories, communications on Graphene are made with a technical language or with great proclamations. Grafy instead uses a simple language, Grafy has become Grafy-Tech, Coating, Car, Machinery. The figure of Grafy will very soon be part of the life of many end-users, it is a species of cartoon-humanized that is close to those who use it and talk to everyone. Grafy is the Graphene that has made itself available for the various industrial sectors and enters your homes.

TC: Thanks, and best wishes for Grafy!

AM: Grafy sends you a big hug!
