Marchetti Tech racing Team is ready for the second challenge at the Pergusa Circuit
Lake Pergusa is a lake in Sicily, nestled between a group of mountains. It is a fundamental step in the migratory trajectory of a large number of birds.
The lake is surrounded by the most important car circuit in Southern Italy, the Pergusa Autodrome, which hosts international races and events, such as Formula 1, Formula 3000 and the Italian Sport Prototype Championship.
There is an archaeological site known as Cozzo Matrice that houses the ruins of an ancient fortified village. It contains massive walls built around the 9th millennium B.C, a sacred citadel, an opulent necropolis and the remains of an ancient temple dedicated to Demeter, dating back more than 2.000 years ago. In ancient times, the lake was said to be the place where Proserpina was abducted by Pluto.
Marchetti Tech will be present on the circuit before practice and throughout the race. On this occasion, we invite everyone to participate and celebrate with our team and drivers.
