Marchetti Tech: a positive sign from 2020
Marchetti Tech Srl: a positive sign from 2020 and products in great demand.
Thomas Cardinali Interview with CEO Joseph Anthony Miceli.
TC: “The year 2020 will be remembered in the history books as the year of the covid. From the Marchetti Tech point of view, how will 2020 be remembered?”
JM: “Before starting the interview, I would like to address solidarity thought to all those who lost their loved ones in this pandemic and all those who suffered from the economic crisis that this pandemic has caused. Unfortunately, many businesses are closed forever, and many people have lost their job. Our business community is experiencing a difficult time, and many workers are in redundancy or without work and income.”
TC: “Instead of Marchetti Tech?”
JM: “For Marchetti Tech, on the other hand, it was a memorable year. We are at the dawn of a new industrial project that sees us involved on many fronts. We started with the Graphene application production, anticorrosive, covering, and paint that is having a lot of interest from various industrial sectors. Even during 2020, we could not back down in our research and development, with great pride on our technicians' part. We were able to present the water-based graphene paints to our public, which is a real breakthrough in our sector.”
TC: “Where do the requests come from in this moment of travel blocking?”
JM: “Our brand is known all over the world. We are already present in many countries, and like Marchetti, we have a LIVE page with which we connect every day with customers, suppliers, and agents.”
TC: “Have you ever stopped during this period?”
JM: “All of 2020 was marked by successes from the point of view of the organization. In fact, we opened our offices in Milan with large meeting rooms and convenient parking near the Linate airport. We opened a wholesale in Italy, in Sant' Ambrogio di Valpolicella near the Domegliara railway station. We have confirmed our presence on the Amazon platform, which will see our major world markets' presence in the coming months. We kept our London office open, guaranteeing operations even during government-mandated closure periods, always in compliance with the rules.
TC: “Marchetti Tech like a super active company?”
JM: “We are fortunate to have collaborators who are high-skilled people, talents who don't spare themselves, and who love to reach the goals we have set for ourselves.”
TC: “Did you achieve all your goals, or are there still things to do?”
JM: “We have a road map that we created while drafting our business plan. For now, we are on time across the board.”
TC: “What are the industries that are asking for your paints, coatings, and primers?”
JM: “We have four catalogs: an industrial line, a professional line, a line with graphene applications, and an easy-spray line, with cans that cover many requests. We have sale requests from the industrial world, particularly oil and gas, for pipes used in the nautical and industrial plants that suffer from corrosion. We have business requests from the world of restoration of vintage cars, architecture, boating, packaging, and all those materials we define as high-performance material.”
TC: “How do you explain all this interest in Marchetti Tech? Is it only thanks to the brand?”
JM: “The brand expresses who we are. We are a company that brings high-quality paints to the market, topcoats that protect machinery and industrial plants that are worth millions of euros. We are united by the idea that we must protect the environment and do it with enthusiasm. We feel the duty to produce excellence, to make products that protect our customers' dreams, desires, and life of their products.”
TC: “What awaits us in 2021?”
JM: “No one knows the future. We hope to have the health to live it. We will do our part with the awareness of doing important things for our planet, not just paints and topcoats. We want to improve human life and facilitate a change.”
TC: “Can you explain better, in simple words?”
JM: “When we create our products, we look at the sky, the sea, and children.”
