Marchetti Colors and the new Country Manager of the United Kingdom

AS: Congratulations for your new role as the Country Manager of Marchetti Colors. How did you get into this position?
AB: Thank you very much. This position is actually a recognition of the hard work and long-term relationship I’ve had with Marchetti group and its management. I am very thankful to the management for recognising my contributions to this company.
AS: Marchetti Chemical is largely expanding in commercial and innovative terms, could you tell us what are the plans of Marchetti Colors?
AB: You are very right about that. Marchetti Colors is indeed expanding, even during the pandemic of Covid-19 we did not stop. We have presented new products on weekly basis and are developing others like graphene, which has been the revolutionary innovation along with the all the others that we have developed over the past three years.
AS: What will be your role in the United Kingdom?
AB: As the Country Manager it will be my upmost priority to prepare the basis for strategic alliances, both in the United Kingdom and in the commonwealth nations.
AS: What will be the role of the graphene paints and what do you mean by strategic alliances?
AB: Graphene was discovered in the United Kingdom, in Manchester and from here we feel the responsibility to make this technology known so that it can protect the environment and protect our clients who use it as a defence against corrosion. Many industrial sectors within the UK has asked us for our paints - for the marine environment, for ports, airports, railways, and industrial and construction facilities and for strategic alliances, we are evaluating sites to start the production of graphene coatings and paints in the United Kingdom.
AS: It’s a really ambitious plan. Will we often see you in Italy or only in the United Kingdom?
AB: In addition to my work in the United Kingdom, I will be alternating between Italy and the many Commonwealth nations to coordinate contracts, to hire and to develop many products. Along with this, I currently deal with relations with certain institutions and governments.
AS: Is Marchetti Colors only thinking about development in Europe?
AB: Marchetti Colors is a company already present in many countries - it provides for high-profile customers and is able to develop high-tech paints and coating products. Our products are requested all over the world - whether to build bridges over rivers in Africa, South America or build infrastructure in the Gulf countries. We make micro productions for medical equipment and machinery ranging from aesthetics to packaging. Therefore, there are no limits or boundaries for Marchetti Colors.
AS: Would you like to add anything before concluding this interview?
AB: I would like to thank all my colleagues and teammates and I am happy to work with such innovative team full of ideas. I am also proud of having the opportunity to work with a team that puts ethics at the core of their business value.
